Crédit Agricole launches Smart TPE, a digital, multi-service cash register for small retail businesses

As well as recording payments (by card, restaurant voucher, cheque or cash), the Smart TPE offers a suite of essential services, such as automated stock management and customisable dashboards. It also enables retailers to create and coordinate a loyalty and/or coupon programme.

The SMART TPE app has AFNOR NF525 certification and is compliant with the regulations in force since 1 January 2018. It is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play. Retailers can buy or rent the accompanying equipment (card reader, cash drawer, printer, tablet, barcode reader, etc.).

Crédit Agricole Payment Services, Crédit Agricole’s payment subsidiary, has been testing this new offering with retailers and getting their input for the last six months.

Smart TPE is now being rolled out in France by advisers at Crédit Agricole’s regional banks.

This innovation will give Crédit Agricole’s business customers access to all the advantages of digital, via simple and reliable management solutions that will enhance efficiency and save them time every day, alongside marketing tools that will help them increase customer loyalty and boost sales.
