Amundi and CACEIS complete strategic partnership on fund distribution platform Fund Channel
Amundi, the leading European asset manager, and CACEIS, the asset servicing banking group of Crédit Agricole and Santander announce the completion of their strategic agreement to accelerate the development of Fund Channel, one of the leading B-2-B fund distribution platforms.
CACEIS now holds a strategic stake of 33.33% of Fund Channel, while Amundi remains the majority shareholder.
This partnership enables Fund Channel to deliver one of the leading platform solutions proposed to asset managers and distributors, through fully-fledged dealing and distribution services capitalizing on the strength and expertise of its two shareholders.
This milestone is part of both parties’ 2025 strategic plan, as communicated to investors in June 2022, with an objective of EUR 600 bn of Assets under Administration. Fund Channel offers services for the open-architecture distribution market in Europe, including data management, fund execution, advisory services, business intelligence, and rebates management, with the #1 quality position on the platform market[1]
