Olivier Guilhamon is appointed Deputy Head of International Retail Banking
Olivier Guilhamon has been appointed Deputy Head of International Retail Banking, reporting to Michel Le Masson, Head of BPI at Crédit Agricole S.A.
Olivier Guilhamon takes over from Guilhem Nouvel-Alaux, who has taken up the position of Head of Relations with Regional Banks.
He began his career in 1984 at IBM France as a sales engineer. In 1988, Olivier Guilhamon joined McKinsey as a Project Manager, responsible for organisation, strategy and change implementation for companies in the banking and insurance, industry and air transport sectors. He joined Crédit Lyonnais in 1993 as Regional Head of the Companies Market in the Operations Department for the southern Paris Basin. In 1996, he was appointed CEO of Crédit Lyonnais Japan. He returned to the Paris headquarters of Crédit Lyonnais in 1999, and from then until 2003 he was Deputy Head of Strategy and Development. As such, he was involved in preparation of the Crédit Agricole/Crédit Lyonnais merger and was integration coordinator during the integration period.
In September 2004, he was appointed Deputy Head of Strategy and Development at Crédit Agricole S.A. In March 2009, Olivier Guilhamon became Head of Compliance for the Crédit Agricole Group, then Head of Internal Audit at LCL in 2015 and Deputy CEO of Crédit Agricole Italia in May 2017.
Olivier Guilhamon, an engineer from the Ecole Centrale de Paris, holds a Master’s in industrial engineering and a Master’s in management.
