Jean-Bernard Mas has been appointed General Manager of Crédit Agricole Polska

Jean-Bernard Mas has been appointed General Manager of Crédit Agricole Polska.

He will replace Olivier Constantin, who has been appointed General Manager of Crédit Agricole d'Aquitaine. Jean-Bernard Mas has also been promoted to SCO (Senior Country Officer) of Crédit Agricole SA Group for Poland. He is joining the Management Committee of Crédit Agricole SA 

Crédit Agricole Polska is home to Credit Agricole Bank Polska, one of Crédit Agricole's 7 local banking centres outside France (the others are in Italy, Serbia, Romania, Ukraine, Egypt and Morocco), and ARC broker (an insurance brokerage)

With 4,100 employees, 1.5 million customers including individuals, professionals, farmers and businesses, Crédit Agricole Bank Polska is developing a full-service local banking business with a major position on the consumer credit market, in synergy with the other entities of the group in Poland. 



After an early career at BRED, Jean-Bernard Mas joined Crédit Agricole in 1989 where he started as an organiser at Caisse Régionale du Var. He was appointed head of the Management Control department in 1994. In 2002 he was named Head of Banking Services at Caisse Régionale Provence Côte d'Azur, then Head of Banking and IT in 2003. In 2009, he became General Manager of the EIG (economic interest group) AMT and one of the key construction works managers for the NICE programme - setting up project management and a common IT system for all 39 regional Crédit Agricole Banks. A year later, he created and headed up the EIG CA Services, in charge of overall project management for the NICE programme. He has been Deputy General Manager of Credit Agricole Bank Polska since 2015.

Jean-Bernard Mas holds a Master's in Management Science and a DESS in Telecommunications Management from Paris IX Dauphine University. He is also a graduate of the National Institute of Telecommunications.
