Crédit Agricole Assurances launches the 8th edition of its call for projects focusing on emerging issues of assisting caregivers
From 5 February to 5 April 2018, Crédit Agricole Assurances is launching its 8th national call for projects from French public-interest associations or organisations to develop a project that would assist caregivers*.
After seven years of engagement with associations that work for caregivers, Crédit Agricole Assurances is refocusing its call for projects on three emerging issues:
- young caregivers: how can we identify, educate, and assist caregivers under the age of 25?
- caregivers and employment: How can we enable caregivers who are forced to give up their working life to return to the job market or even help to keep them employed?
- health of caregivers: how can we educate health professionals about the caregiving cause through caregiver prevention and health awareness initiatives?
The selected projects will receive one year of financial support. Assistance in online fundraising methods and tools - including crowdfunding - will also be offered for the winning associations via training dispensed by HelloAsso, an association financing platform.
Associations can submit their applications between 5 February and 5 April 2018 at www.ca-assurances.com. Every year, the jury seeks out concrete initiatives that have a real, lasting impact on caregivers.
Committed to caregiver associations since 2010, Crédit Agricole Assurances has received nearly 1200 projects to date, 140 of which were funded from a total purse of more than two million euros. At the same time, Crédit Agricole Assurances signed company-level agreements with its own caregiver employees.
