Crédit Agricole Assurances has entered into exclusive discussions with Charterhouse Capital Partners with a view to acquiring its stake in the Comexposium group. Crédit Agricole Assurances, which will thus become the long-term partner of the group's historical shareholder, the Paris-Île-de-France Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and of the group’s managers, wishes to support Comexposium in its strategy and continuing expansion.
Comexposium is one of the world leaders in the organisation of exhibitions (co-leading largest player in France, 3rd largest player globally, and the largest "pure player" worldwide). Comexposium has 67 event brands, covering 11 business sectors, including events such as: SIAL, Intermat, Paris International Agricultural Show, SIMA and Foire de Paris.
