Véronique Faujour has been appointed Secretary General of Crédit Agricole S.A. From the 1st of January 2020, she will take over from Jérôme Brunel, who is to retire. Véronique Faujour will be notably in charge of the organisation of governance, public affairs, corporate social responsibility and communications. She will report to Philippe Brassac, Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole SA.

After joining Corn Product Company Group France as Assistant Product Manager in the baby food division of Gerber in September 1986, she was hired by Bayard Presse in July 1988 as Project Manager for Bayard Presse Jeune products, then as Sales Director, and finally as Marketing Director, Senior Division – Head of Development and Distribution. From July 2000 to May 2005, she worked at La Vie/Le Monde Group as editor of the magazine Top Famille, part of the subsidiary Publifa, then from April 2004, as Manager of Fleurus Presse, the children’s press subsidiary of La Vie/Le Monde Group. In June 2005, Véronique Faujour joined Marie-Claire Group as a magazine editor before being recruited by the company Uni-Editions as Deputy General Manager in April 2008. From January 2010 to November 2016, she was the CEO of Uni-Editions. Since December 2016, Véronique Faujour has served as Head of Marketing and Communication in the Development, Client and Innovation Division of Crédit Agricole S.A.
