Appointment : Jean-Paul Duhamel is appointed Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole Transitions & Energies
Jean-Paul Duhamel is appointed Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole Transitions & Energies, with effect from 1 January 2024. He will join Crédit Agricole S.A.’s Management Committee.
Biography
Jean-Paul Duhamel began his career at Crédit Agricole du Morbihan where he held sales and managerial positions in the local retail banking network. In 2006, he joined the regional bank’s Organisation Department before moving on to the Distribution Department.
He joined Crédit Agricole Atlantique Vendée as Head of Multi-Channel Marketing in 2010.
In 2012, he joined Crédit Agricole Charente-Maritime Deux-Sèvres as Head of Sales, and was appointed Head of Finance and Logistics in 2017.
Then in 2021, he was appointed Deputy General Manager of Crédit Agricole Centre Loire.
Jean-Paul Duhamel, 50, graduated from the University of West of England and holds an Executive Master’s degree in financial management from HEC.
A Crédit Agricole group subsidiary, Crédit Agricole Transitions & Energies supports and facilitates its customers’ environmental transitions through two activities:
- the local production and supply of low-carbon electricity in cooperation with local stakeholders, backed by an investment offer and a financing solution;
- transition advice and solutions, by supporting the Group’s customers’ efforts towards the environmental transition.
Crédit Agricole Transitions & Energies has 60 employees and puts its expertise to work for individuals, professionals, businesses, farmers and local authorities.
