Appointment

Valérie Wanquet has been appointed Group Chief Risk Officer from 1 October 2025, under the responsibility of Jérôme Grivet, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole S.A., and Deputy General Manager of Crédit Agricole S.A.

As such, she will join the Executive Committee of Crédit Agricole S.A.

Biography

Valérie Wanquet began her career in 1988 in auditing at PwC. She joined Crédit Lyonnais in 1991 as Head of Accounting, Capital Markets division. In 1999, she joined the Singapore branch as Financial Controller, then the Hong Kong branch in 2001, becoming Chief Financial Officer for Asia in 2003. In 2007, she was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) China. From 2011 to 2013, she held the post of Regional Chief Financial Officer before becoming COO for Hong Kong and Asia-Pacific. She joined Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance in 2016 as Group Chief Financial Officer. In 2019, she gained responsibility for Credit, Central Secretariat, Legal and Institutional Relations. In July 2020, Valérie Wanquet was appointed Group Deputy CEO of Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance in charge of International, Insurance, Finance and Legal, as well as Alternate CEO of Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance. In April 2024, she became Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole Immobilier.

Valérie Wanquet graduated from ESSEC and is a certified accountant.
